Governor Benson Visits TradePoint Systems

New Hampshire Governor Craig R. Benson visited the offices of TradePoint Systems in Nashua, NH on the morning of 12th August to meet with employees and tour the company facilities.

Governor Benson’s office contacted TradePoint Systems in recognition of the company's acknowledgement as one of the State’s top employers. TradePoint was voted the 3rd Best Place to Work in New Hampshire in the December 2003 issue of Business NH Magazine.

Upon arriving at TradePoint, Governor Benson initially met with Ken Halle, COO, and later made a group address to employees. As an entrepreneur himself, Benson recognized TradePoint for its longevity and success as a NH-based Company. He also acknowledged the employee longevity and the importance that this makes in the success of a company. Before being elected Governor of New Hampshire, Benson was co-founder and CEO of Cabletron Systems. He created the company in a garage and spearheaded its phenomenal growth into a worldwide leader in the high tech industry with 7,000 employees in over 130 countries.

“We were delighted to be contacted by the Governor’s office and pleased to welcome Governor Benson to TradePoint Systems. TradePoint represents the spirit of the hard working entrepreneurship in NH and is very proud of the dedicated, hard working, civic minded employees that are the backbone of this company,” said Ken Halle, COO of TradePoint Systems.
