Systems Merges with Trans-Euro
TradePoint
Systems B.V. has announced that it has merged with Trans-Euro of The Netherlands,
a supplier of export documentation software solutions to Exporters throughout
Holland, to further expand TradePoint's European presence. The new company will
be a subsidiary of TradePoint Systems Ltd., TradePoint Systems LLC's European
operations, and will be known as TradePoint Systems B.V. with headquarters in
Zwolle, Holland.
"We are pleased and excited by this merger" said Nigel Lothian, Managing
Director of TradePoint Systems' European operations. "We have several customers
utilizing our SPEX export documentation system in Holland and other parts of
Europe. Combining our technology offerings and customers with those acquired
from Trans-Euro, as well as adding Trans-Euro's local market presence, existing
resources and skills, will allow TradePoint to reach its goal of significant
penetration into the European market".
In conjunction with SPEX, TradePoint Systems B.V. will offer the international
trade industry of Europe the Export Compliance System (ECS), which is a web-based
application that gives Exporters the ability to automatically check for regulatory
compliance and denied parties during the document preparation process. In addition,
Manifest 24 another web-based application that enables ocean carriers and NVOCC's
worldwide to successfully complete the task requirements set forth in the "Us Customs and Border Protection 24-hour Advance Cargo Manifest Declaration Rule", which applies
to all cargo shipped in containers bound for the United States, will be offered
by TradePoint Systems B.V.
