Catano appointed co-chair of trade software subcommittee

Celeste Catano, senior business and technical analyst at TradePoint Systems was recently appointed as co-chair of the new Trade Software Integration Subcommittee, which is the software vendor committee for U.S. Customs' new Automated Commercial Environment export and import filing system.

A part of the Trade Support Network Transition Committee, the Trade Software Integration Subcommittee will address issues dealing with trade software and communications interfaces with Customs and Border Protection, as well as other government agencies. The subcommittee will act as a sounding board for proposals from ACE regarding technical and software migration and will provide a trade perspective on ACE technical development.
