TradePoint take on QUESTA Software and Customer Base from ClearCross

TradePoint Systems LLC, a provider of software applications and services to the Customs House Brokerage and Freight Forwarding industry for nearly three decades, has announced that it has entered into an agreement with ClearCross, Inc., a global supply chain technology company. (1/4/2002)

TradePoint has acquired the customer base and exclusive rights to sell, modify and support the QUESTA line of software to Customs House Brokers and Freight Forwarders.

The QUESTA family of integrated products run under Windows NT and utilize either SQL or Oracle databases. Products include Customs House Brokerage, Freight Forwarding, Breakbulk, and Accounting. The QUESTA line will complement TradePoint’s ALLIANCE family of brokerage and forwarding products that run on both Compaq and AS/400 servers.

As part of the agreement, TradePoint and ClearCross will work together to provide a smooth transition of the QUESTA products and customers to TradePoint’s technical and support environments. TradePoint will provide QUESTA users with help desk support, product enhancements, Customs compliance, and custom product development services through its facilities in Nashua, NH, USA.

Christopher Crane, President & CEO of TradePoint Systems LLC stated: “We are pleased to welcome the QUESTA customers to TradePoint. We believe that our extensive support organization along with the availability of our sophisticated WEB Tracking and Imaging products will greatly enhance the capabilities of the current QUESTA customers. We also believe that our ability to offer a full range of products on the NT platform to new prospects will complement our current architecture and enable us to continue to enhance our leadership position.”
