| TradePoint announce new alliance imaging system |
TradePoint have incorporated
an easy-to-use and low-cost Imaging System to electronically capture and
store every document that can be printed from its Alliance system during
the course of Customs clearance work. (8/7/2001)
The new Alliance Imaging system improves productivity and service
levels dramatically for Customs Brokers by providing automated processes
for creating, naming, indexing, storing and retrieving of electronic
documents. These electronic images can then be viewed, printed, faxed and
e-mailed by a Broker’s staff, as well as users of TradePoint’s Internet
Tracking system.
TradePoint developed Alliance Imaging to bring the benefits offered by
imaging technology to its Alliance Import, BreakBulk and Accounting
customers. This release of Alliance Imaging provides an automated process
for the naming, indexing, storage and retrieval of electronic documents
for viewing, printing, and even e-mailing by a Broker’s staff. It is
designed to efficiently capture the numerous Customs and business forms
that can be generated by TradePoint’s Alliance Import or BreakBulk
systems.
Alliance Imaging also provides a means through which a Broker’s staff
can retrieve any document images that are related to the transaction being
worked on. Users are then given the ability to view these documents on
their screens, print them, and attach them to e-mails. These document
images offer a crisp, clear reproduction of the hard-copy document,
complete with all the details of the forms onto which they are printed.
