TradePoint Systems, a Nashua, N.H.-based provider of customs
compliance, international freight forwarding, and import and export
software programs, has been acquired by Kewill Systems, a
publicly-listed British supply chain management firm.
The acquisition was finalized on Jan. 2. No terms were disclosed.
Kewill Systems said in a statement that TradePoint would continue
with the same name and the same staff. Tradepoint's former president
and chief executive, Chris Crane, will continue with the company
as executive vice president of group business development.
Kewill, headquartered in Staines, U.K., has branch offices in the
U.S., Spain, and Germany. With the acquisition, the company now
has 356 employees.
