Overview |
The Airport Maintenance database maintains the list of airports and airport codes used throughout the Alliance Export system. |

To build or
maintain Airport file information, complete the following fields. |

Airport |
Enter the alphanumeric IATA code for the airport. |
This is the IATA code associated with this airport. This code is an alphanumeric string of up to 3 characters. |

Name |
Enter the name of the Airport. |
This airport name will display when the airport code is entered. It will also print on documentation, where necessary. |
|
Country Code |
Double click in the field to select the correct country code. |
This is the international code associated with the country where the airport is located. |
|
Default Agent |
Double click in the field to select an agent from the lookup table, or press TAB to leave this field blank. |
This is the code associated with the overseas agent for this airport. Note: When you select the airport in a file, the agent code from this field will default automatically. |

Customs Code |
Enter the Customs code. |
This is the numeric code of the airport in the local Customs system. |
|
No Consols |
Select this box or leave it blank. |
This field enables/disables consolidations going to or from this airport. |
|
No Collect |
Select this box or leave it blank. |
This field enables/disables collect shipments going to or from this airport. |
|
Time Zone |
No data enry required. |
This Time Zone field is not currently used in Alliance Export. |
|
Wareh. Port |
Enter the associated warehouse port code. |
This field is used only in conjunction with the On Hands. |
|
Blocked |
Select this box or leave it blank. |
This field enables/disables this record from being used for a shipment. |
|
OK or Cancel |
Select OK to
update the changes you have made.
Select Cancel if you would
like the system to disregard any changes you have made. |
Selecting OK or Cancel will close the window. |
