Handling Error Messages

 

Overview

When you receive an error message from Alliance Export, you must perform certain steps to ensure that TPS Support gets the appropriate information to resolve the problem.

 

Procedure

To provide TPS Support with the necessary error information, use the following steps.

Copy the error message on paper or print the screen.

You are prompted to choose OK or Cancel.

Choose OK.

Select Help from the toolbar at the top right of your screen.

The Help menu appears.

Select About Program.

The About Program screen appears.

Choose the View Mess. button.

A list of error messages appears.

Note:  You can also retrieve this list by selecting View Messages from the Help menu.

Print the list of error messages.

Select the Process Details button.

This button provides information about the user logged into the system.

Print this screen.
