Overview |
The Department
maintenance database maintains department information in the Alliance Export
system. This maintenance lets you define your organization’s departments,
associate each user with a department, and obtain information about
departmental performance and activities. Note: These Departments are used/monitored ONLY in Statistics. |

To build or
maintain department information, complete the following fields. |

Department |
Enter up to a 5-digit alphanumeric department code. |
This is a user-defined code for the department. |

Name |
Enter the name of the department. |
This is the user-defined department name which displays for verification purposes when the Department code is entered. |

Blocked |
Select this box or leave it blank. |
This field enables/disables this record from being used for a shipment. |
|
OK or Cancel |
Select OK to
update the changes you have made.
Select Cancel if you would
like the system to disregard any changes you have made. |
Selecting OK or Cancel will close the window. |
