Ocean Move Type Maintenance

Overview |
The Ocean Move Type Maintenance database maintains Ocean load/unload configuration codes for the Alliance Export system. Some examples of move types are: House to House, House to Terminal, House to Pier, and Pier to Pier. Note: You can do a lookup to the Move Type Maintenance table from the Type of Move field on the File Entry screen. |

To build or
maintain Ocean load/unload configuration codes, complete the following
fields. |

Enter the 2-digit alphanumeric Move Type code. |
This is the Move Type code. |

Name |
Enter the Moving Type name. |
This is the name or description of the moving configuration (e.g., House to House). This name will display for verification purposes when the Move Type code is entered. |

Include Shipper Load Message |
Select this box or leave it blank. |
This box indicates whether to print “Shipper’s Load Count & Stowage” in the message area of the bill of lading. |

Blocked |
Select this box or leave it blank. |
This field enables/disables this record from being used for a shipment. |

OK or Cancel |
Select OK to
update the changes you have made.
Select Cancel if you would
like the system to disregard any changes you have made. |
Selecting OK or Cancel will close the window. |
