Overview |
The Ocean Tariff Groups Maintenance database maintains the tariffs for groups of Load or Unload ports you entered on the Tariff Entry screen. This maintenance then applies these tariffs and any updates to all the ports in the same group. You can use this maintenance to create the groups of load and unload ports for tariff definitions. Note: You can do a lookup to the Tariff Groups maintenance table from the Groups/Departure and Group/Destination fields on the Tariff Entry screen. |

Pre-requisites |
You must build
the Port maintenance before Ocean Tariff Groups. |

To build or maintain groups of tariffs, complete the following fields. |

Group |
Enter the 4-digit alphanumeric Group code. |
This is the group code. |

Name |
Enter the name of the tariff group. |
This is the name or description of the tariff group which displays for verification purposes when the group code is entered. |

Port |
Double click on the arrow or the field to select the port. |
This is the load or unload port that belongs to this tariff group. |

Name |
No data entry required. Note: This field is display only. |
This is the name of the port, associated with the Port code entered in the previous field. |
|
Blocked |
Select this box or leave it blank. |
This field enables/disables this record from being used for a shipment. |
|
OK or Cancel |
Select OK to
update the changes you have made.
Select Cancel if you would
like the system to disregard any changes you have made. |
Selecting OK or Cancel will close the window. |
