Entry Type Codes

Overview |
Every import transaction must be assigned
an Entry Type Code in order to be processed by ABI and ACS. U.S. Customs maintains these Entry Types
and the procedures in this section will explain how to add, maintain and
delete entry type codes in CHB. CAUTION: The procedures described in this section should only be used in circumstances where access to ABI queries is temporarily not available and the need to edit the Entry Type Code file exists. |
